Skip Beat is so popular that besides its merchandise, a game is also made in its name. However the game is only available in Japan due to several unamed factors. The manga is full of moving, heartwrenching, exciting characters that can keep you glue to the screen of hours...

Kyoko Mogami (Kyoko-chan)

She’s the main character in the manga. Have a childhood friend name Shou (antagonist). She followed Shou to Tokyo because of her infatuation on him. Shou who was planning to be a famous musician asked her to come with him. However, one day she realized that the reason that she was asked to follow him was to take care of him (she was treated like a maid). Anger surged through her veins and unlocks her repressed feelings all these years. Instead of crying as Shou thought she would, she started laughing like a lunatic and vowed that she will get her revenge against him for using her all these years and then cast her aside just like a rag. So she threw away all her emotions and focused on her revenge against Shou. Thus started Kyoko’s life conquest to get a name in the entertainment industry to prove to Shou that she is better than him and make him grovel at her feet for dumping her. New style, new haircut, new Kyoko! Entertainment industry here she comes!

Shoutaro Fuwa (Shou)
He dreams to be free from his parents business in a Japanese inn (ryokan) and become a rock star. He’s responsible for making Kyoko change drastically. After making a name in the industry he started ignoring Kyoko and flirted with his manager. Conceited, selfish, and will do anything to be a famous rock star. He strive to be the No. 1 name in the entertainment industry and beat his rival Ren who is currently in the No.1 spot. If I were you I’ll watch my back ‘coz Kyoko’s coming to haunt your waking dreams…

Bishiee!!!

Ren Tsuruga (Ren)The most sought after guy in the entertainment industry in Japan. His good looks and charming attitude makes every girls heart flutter. An accomplish actor and model in LME. Dislike Kyoko when she started working in LME. He thinks that Kyoko was just another wannabe in the industry. He started bullying Kyoko after knowing that revenge was the reason that Kyoko enter LME. Still, there is a history between them that they haven’t realized yet. Will they both get along after the history was reveal?

BFF(Best Friends Forever)

Kotonami Kanae (Moko-san)
Kyoko’s rival at first when they both enter the LME casting. Still, after ending up working in the same department as Kyoko, they became fast friends. She is the first real friend that Kyoko have and treasure. A talented actress and capable of working together with Kyoko even in an impromptu audition. She shares her family story with Kyoko in exchange Kyoko told her why she ended up in the entertainment industry with Ren and Shou as her target. Moko-san you’re the only one who really understands Kyoko.

Malicious Demon

Reino (Lead Singer of Vie Ghoul Band)
Reino is the lead singer of Vie Ghoul Band that has spiritual powers. His aim is to beat Shou by copying every aspect of Shou’s music, image, and even recording studio. He found out about Kyoko from the promo video (PV) that she did with Shou. Realizing Kyoko’s evil aura directed at Shou, he abruptly change his target to her. Being a spiritualist as well as Visual-K type (unhealthy image posed by musician like being a vampire) he is attracted to evilness. Started to stalk Kyoko in order to get her to obtain her evil aura. He’s scary but very good looking that it is hard to take the eyes off him. Reino stop tormenting Kyoko…

Skip Beat Anime

The anime is out! Yay! For all S.B fans out there don’t forget to get it. Even though it will not fit all the manga but I assure you all that it is packed with blood pumping, exhilarating flying emotions, and hours of laughter. All the voices are played by very famous voice actors in the industry like Inoue Marina and Mamoru Miyano just to name a few. Sadly money shortage is preventing me from buying it…sob sob so sad… (T___T)

Skip Beat Game

Skip Beat game version is based on the story with three different paths to choose from. The player will be Kyoko and the paths given are either she ended up with Ren, Shou or the malicious Reino. Basically it is a dating game where every step that you take will be result in different scenario. So you’ll end up with different endings for all three characters. Sadly this game is only available in Japan…Owh man I wanted to play it…

Kyoko & Moko

Kyoko-chan & Moko-san lookin' cute together. Still, behind those smiles dark secrets are buried that no one knows...Family problems that they kept between them will never be reveal to others because they fear that it will ruin their career that is just starting to grow.Will the secret be reveal to others? Will they constantly be living in the shadow of their past? Well stay tuned to find out...xP

Father & Child-The Dynamic Duo

I absolutely love this picture.OMG! Just look at the chemistry between this father and child. Ren and his father, Kuu are so good looking. No wonder ladies can’t keep their eyes off them. However, Ren is still trying to break away from his father’s influence in the entertainment industry and make a name on his own. Even though Kuu’s popularity’s already reach the states Ren will not back away. Acting in ‘Dark Moon’ will make your name soar Ren. Don’t give up Ren! Gambattekure-yo!

Valentine arch…

Valentine is in the air…the latest manga is out. Here’s the summary of this arch so far. On Valentine day Kyoko decide not to make any chocolate for anybody. Too bad, she didn’t expect Reino to return from the states and demand chocolates from her. Holding her small devil spirit as a hostage, Kyoko has no choice but to make chocolates for him but to cover up she makes for all the cast of her drama ‘Dark Moon’. Bad luck seem to have followed her as Ren and Shou found out that she was giving chocolates to Reino. Conflict sparks between all three. What will happen in the end? For that answer I’m afraid we’ll have to wait until the next chapter came out next month…huhuhu waiting and anticipation is making me restless…Nakamura sensei please come out with the next chapter…onegaishimas!
